“Vacuum as service” – according to this concept, the Lab Support Facility typically provides membrane (rough vacuum) and oil rotary vane pumps (fine vacuum) to laboratories. This includes purchase and service.

For these pumps a regular service is advised to preserve the function and allow long life time. Inspection, oil change and service for “Edwards” pumps (and their replacement if necessary) can be ordered via ticket to lsf@ista.ac.at.
Pumps that where not purchased through LSF can only be serviced to a limited degree (i.e. oil change).
